EEO-1 Reports Due by September 30, 2012. All private companies with more than 100 employees, as well as certain federal contractors with 100 or more employees, are required to complete and submit the Federal EEO-1 Report by September 30, 2012. The EEO-1 report gathers data on the gender, race/ethnicity, and job types at each organization. Individual company information is confidential, but aggregate information is publicly available.

NLRB Poster Requirement Delayed Until April 30.
Based on a lawsuit challenging the requirement that all employers post a notice of rights under the National Labor Relations Act, the NLRB has agreed to postpone implementation of the new poster requirement until April 30, 2012.
The Arizona Minimum Wage will increase to $7.65 per hour for 2012. This increase is based on a 3.8% increase in the federal consumer price index.
