The Cavanagh Law Firm is proud to announce that Senior Member, Cassandra Meyer, was elected as President-Elect for the Harmonie Group effective January 1st, 2019. The Harmonie Group is an invitation-only international network of elite and vetted attorneys providing defense services to corporations, TPAs, insurance companies, RRGs, and captives.
Founded in 1993 at the Harmonie Club in New York City, the Group promotes an exchange of ideas between clients and lawyers. The Harmonie Group believes that both clients and attorneys benefit from a better understanding of the unique circumstances and concerns facing each of them. Cassandra Meyer practices this philosophy as she serves clients in the areas of products, premises, professional and transportation defense, as well as insurance coverage and bad faith defense.
Ms. Meyer has authored and presented numerous Continuing Legal Education seminars in the areas of litigation practices, insurance coverage, and bad faith. Ms. Meyer co-chairs the Litigation Practices Committee in Harmonie and has served on the Board of Directors for the Harmonie Group since 2015.
The President-Elect role is a six-year term consisting of two years as President-Elect, two years as President, and two years as Immediate Past President. The role entails leading the group and presiding over the annual Harmonie Group meetings, which occur three times a year in various destinations throughout the United States and Canada. Ms. Meyer will be amongst the few select women who have served as President-Elect for this prestigious organization. Ms. Meyer is honored to be chosen to lead the group and looks forward to furthering her leadership and commitment to the Harmonie Group.
