Danny Marks is an associate attorney with the firm’s employment law practice group. Mr. Marks’ practice focuses on human resource issues and employment litigation. Mr. Marks represents employers in matters involving the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Arizona Civil Rights Division, National Labor Relations Board, Department of Labor, trade secrets, restrictive covenants and workplace torts. Prior to joining The Cavanagh Law Firm, Mr. Marks served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Michael J. Brown of the Arizona Court of Appeals.
Mr. Marks received his J.D., with distinction, from the University of Nebraska College of Law. At Nebraska, he was published by the Nebraska Law Review Bulleting and received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Pretrial Litigation, Remedies & Damages and Criminal Procedure. Mr. Marks was a member of the law school’s national trial team, a finalist in the law school’s first-year client counseling competition and a semi-finalist in the school’s Grether moot court competition. Because of his contributions to the law school’s advocacy programs, he was admitted to The Order of Barristers. Mr. Marks received his B.A. in History, magna cum laude, from the University of Arizona.
