With her no-nonsense approach to goal-driven advocacy, Tonya’s clients are confident that their positions are effectively represented. Ms. MacBeth joined the Cavanagh Law Firm and its robust family law group as a senior member, having previously been a shareholder at another well-respected Phoenix firm for many years. Tonya focuses on divorces with complex financial portfolios, abusive behaviors, or significant parenting issues—though it is a pleasure to efficiently guide people through amicable resolutions and “Summary” divorces. Tonya also serves as a divorce and parenting-issue mediator.

Prior to law school, Tonya had a career in the Arizona mental health system, serving as a state-appointed advocate for individuals designated as Seriously Mentally Ill, and Arizona Department of Health Services/Behavioral Health independent contractor for the investigation of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and mortalities.

Tonya is a member of the Arizona, New Mexico (inactive), Nevada (inactive), and the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Arizona and New Mexico.
