Chris Gultz is an associate attorney at The Cavanagh Law Firm. Her practice focuses on litigation and defending employers in state and federal court and administrative agencies against allegations of employment discrimination and harassment, including issues related to Title IX, Title VI, FMLA, ADA, whistleblower retaliation, and other civil rights laws. She also counsels employers on compliance with various state and federal employment laws. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Gultz earned hands-on experience representing clients in all phases of litigation, from initial pleadings, discovery, mediation, and motion practice to trial preparation and appeals. Her litigation experience includes defending a complex professional liability claim as second-chair counsel in a three-week jury trial.
Ms. Gultz graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Journal for Social Justice and a board member of the Women Law Students’ Association. She also competed in the ABA Representation in Mediation Regional Moot Court Competition. Ms. Gultz earned her undergraduate degree from Barrett, the Honors College, where she studied Political Science and defended a thesis.
