Scott Rowan addresses estate planning for families who want to make sure the right persons have the legal authority to assist with financial or health care matters when there is need. These goals are met with Wills to appoint a guardian when there are minors involved as well as a trust to make sure finances are easily accessible for loved ones when a client passes. Scott utilizes powers of attorney so clients can be assisted at times of illness or incapacity and beneficiary deeds to avoid probate when a client prefers not to have a trust.
Scott, who grew up Merced, California, has family in Arizona. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minor in Business Management from Brigham Young University. His education gives him a good foundation to understand business issues which need to be addressed in an estate plan.
Scott obtained his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law, where he was an editor on the Pacific Basin Law Journal, worked at the Lanterman Special Education Law Clinic, and served as president of the UCLA chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.
Scott primarily assists clients from the Sun City office, where many clients come from Sun City West, Peoria, Glendale, Arrowhead, Buckeye, Avondale and Goodyear. Phoenix, Scottsdale and East Valley clients are welcome in the Sun City or Phoenix office, based on convenience.
